Global Dialogue on Convention No. 169
Agenda, 18-19 July 2019
Aim of the meeting
To promote awareness and understanding of the scope and content of the Convention, including through the dissemination of the work of the ILO supervisory bodies, the sharing of practical experiences and lessons learned in applying the Convention and related social dialogue. The meeting is expected to result in an enhanced understanding of the Convention's scope and the respective mandates and working methods of the ILO supervisory bodies and UN mechanism.
IOE Role in the meeting
To coordinate the participation of 7 Employer representatives. María Paz Anzorreguy, IOE Director of ILO Coordination, will deliver a presentation on the role of the Committee on Application of Standards in supervising the application of Convention 169.
