The IOE continues its close collaboration with UNAIDS, which began in 2000. IOE collaboration with UNAIDS has focussed on bringing the expertise and experience of UNAIDS in the fight against HIV/AIDS to its members.


The IOE continues its close collaboration with UNAIDS, which began in 2000. ICFTU-IOE have launched joint national activities (national action plans in tackling HIV/AIDS) and in this respect UNAIDS remains a major partner in the practical implementation of these activities.
